Been coming here since I was a young kid, the inside has not changed and it always reminds me of being a kid eating dinner with my family here. The food is always good in my opinion and it's quiet on the inside. Definitely much better food than most Chinese places in the area!

This place was recommended to us by a coworker. It's little restaurant hidden to the side. Upon entering we were greeted by one of the servers. We were seated promptly. No music playing just a peaceful place to eat at. We ordered the orange chicken (dinner combo) which includes soup and an egg roll with rice and the entree. The food was fresh and the service was fast! Portions are huge! They are very attentive and checked up on us multiple times. We will be back to try other things. Plenty of Parking and plenty of seating.

Best Egg Rolls ever. I e been eating here since the 90s very nice owners. I drive from the Ann Arbor area just for those egg rolls. I know people that take dozens back down south frozen while in town.

I have been going to China Star since I was a kiddo! They have always been a staple in my life and moving back to the area has been amazing! The individuals who work here are always the nicest people! Just today, I forgot to mention I wanted sweet and sour sauce on the side and I offered to pay for an extra side and they just gave it to me! I'm always so happy with how they treat their customers which is why I will always choose them over other businesses. I'm also so happy that the inside is open again and that they've kept the fish tank! It was so nice walking back in. When I have the time I love to eat in. They have the best almond chicken with gravy around and honestly the best prices too! The only thing I miss is when they used to have dinner rolls bring those back and I'll be there every day!!!!

So glad to see the dining and event rooms back open! We all come here every year for our family get together - they have a really nice private room in the back; reasonable prices. $22.25 pp for the buffet with egg rolls, fried and white rice, almond chicken, sweet and sour chicken, veggie noodles and stir fried broccoli with all the sauces. The food is so delicious and fresh - if I lived near here, this would be my go-to Chinese spot. The restaurant was packed the Wednesday after Christmas. Service was good - they have a bar. A great casual place for gathering with the family.

Amazing food! Been going here for 50 years! They re open the dining room after covid tonight! Cant wait to have Wonton soup and terrific egg rolls
